Refund policy
At Rooted State, we want you to love your gear. If something isn’t right, we’re here for you.
Returns & Refunds
• Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase
• Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in new condition, including all original tags and packaging
• Refund Amount: Approved returns receive a full refund minus a $5.00 restocking fee
• Shipping: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is not covered by Rooted State
• Refund Processing: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting your return
Exchanges
• Same Item: Exchanges for the same item (e.g., different size or color) are free. Return shipping is not covered by Rooted State
• Different Item: Exchanges for a different product are not eligible for a refund
o If the new item costs more, you’ll be charged the price difference
o If it costs less, the balance will not be refunded
• Exchange Window: Must be submitted within 30 days of purchase
How to Start a Return or Exchange
• Email support@rooted-state.com with your order number and reason for return/exchange
• Our team will provide return instructions
• Once received and inspected, we’ll notify you of your refund or exchange status
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us at support@rooted-state.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
• Verified defects will result in a replacement of the same item, or if unavailable, an exchange or full refund
• Warranty or defect claims must be submitted within 30 days of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
• Items marked as “non-returnable” at checkout
• Items that have been worn, washed, or not in new condition
Rooted State reserves the right to deny a return or exchange if the item does not meet the conditions stated above.
